Reservations are not required for Walk-In projects, but they are recommended.

Celebrate Tulip Season with us!
Create two giant flowers - tulips and/or daffodils, to spruce up your garden year-round. OR make your flowers into a cup, mug, or candle holder!
In this workshop we’ll coach you through building your flowers and glazing (painting) them, selecting from over 30 gorgeous colors. For finishing touches, you’ll have the option to add a handle for your mug, no handle for cup or candle holder, or opt for a dowel “stem” for posting in your garden.
Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up in 2 weeks. Dowels are included and will be glued in for garden pieces.

This project is beginner-friendly (all skill levels welcome!). Suitable for mature children who can focus for 2 hours on a project.

First, we will coach you through building a mug, step-by-step from a slab of clay. You’ll learn to decorate and texturize your mug with all types of fun tools like stamps, rollers, and more.
Then glaze your mug, choosing from over 30 Wonderglaze colors to make your project pop! Or, for a small up-charge, choose to bisque fire your mug first, then pick from over 50 premium potter’s glazes.
Made a mug with us before? Great! In this workshop we’ll teach you how to refine and improve your mug-making skills with new techniques and tools. Refine the lip, add character to the interior and base, make a comfier handle, or put a bird on it! We’ll get more creative than ever!

Are you curious about using underglaze transfers but aren’t sure where to start? Want to incorporate more color and sgraffito/carving with your transfers, but worried your drawing skills might hold you back? Want to up your transfer game through coloration and layering? This workshop is for you!
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to apply pre-made underglaze transfers in unique ways, layering, carving, and glazing to make them one of a kind pieces that reflect your artistic style. combine them with underglaze painting, carving, No drawing skills required, just a willingness to experiment!
Each participant will receive two leather-hard pots (a vase, cup, pot, or bowl) to practice on. Choose from a wide selection of different underglaze colors, transfers, and carving tools to complete your design. Wonderglazes and clear glaze will also be available to create water tight and food-safe finishes.
Each piece will be fired to cone 5, and available for pick up two weeks later.
Participants may opt for a bisque fire first, then return to glaze with Mayco/Amaco/Spectrum potter’s glazes for additional 30% firing & glaze fee.
Leave with fresh new ideas that will elevate your ceramic finishes!

Don’t settle for those tired old house numbers from the hardware store. Add that pop of color to the front of your house or mailbox, and make sure all your packages make it to the right doorstep!
In this workshop, we’ll create borders, add cool patterns and textures, and mount raised numbers to create a one-of-a-kind address plaque that will make your neighbors say wow! Want to add a raised sunflower or some fun mushrooms? How about a bird motif, mountains, or sea life? Why not? Honey, if you’ve got the vision, we’ve got the tools!
We’ll glaze with underglazes and wonderglazes on greenware same day to give your work bold colors that stand out. If you’d like to take more time to add detail to your piece, punch cards are available for more studio time.
Plaques are generally about 12 inches long and rectangular, but you’ll be free to modify and add your own ideas for shapes and adornments.
Plaques will be flat-dried, and take 2-3 weeks for firing.
