Q: Is there an age limit for hand-building parties?
A: Nope! Kids and teens are welcome, however we do request that there be at least one adult present for every 4 children to assist with supervision and safety
Q: When can we pick up our pieces?
A: Typically your pieces will be ready for pick up in about two weeks. We recommend calling or stopping by to check on their status after about 14 days!
Private Wheel Parties
-
Invite some friends for a spin on the wheel!
This fun introduction to the potter’s wheel is perfect for complete beginners as well as those with a little experience. Parties can be booked for up to 6 participants and include:
• Hands-on instruction and guidance through creating your first pieces on the wheel (parties typically run about 1.5-2 hours, including clean-up time)
• We can center your clay for you if desired (the kinda tricky bit) so you can have fun with the rest of the creative process!
• Trimming and glazing of one piece per person is included! Choose from a wide array of glaze colors and we’ll lightly trim, glaze, and fire it for you. Finished pieces are typically ready for pick-up in 3-4 weeks
-
We have 3 wheel instructors with varying availability each week. Let us know when you’d like to have your event and we’ll do our best to sync you up with an available instructor.
-
Parties of 4 or 5
$75 per person - includes 1-to2 pots if you choose to keep them
Parties of 3 or less

Q: Is there an age limit for wheel parties?
A: Nope! Kids and teens are welcome, however we do request that there be at least one adult participant in each party to assist with supervision and safety.
NOTE: Pottery wheels are machines with fast moving parts and are potentially dangerous if operated irresponsibly. While we don’t set an age limit for our private parties, our recommended age range is 8+.
Q: Can we glaze our own pieces?
A: Yes! Glazing sessions can be booked in person after you’ve scheduled a party or by calling the studio. Glazing sessions are $30/hr per person and are recommended if you’d like to get creative with more decorative designs and glaze combinations!
Q: Can we book a wheel party if we’re just visiting the area?
A: Definitely! We can ship your finished pieces to you if you’re not local!
