Looking to build your wheel skills? Taken a basics class and ready to advance to the next level? Sign up for one of our Improving wheel skills workshops and focus on the skillsets you want to conquer. We’re always adding new ones, so you’ll never be bored!
Throwing Better - Recover those wobbly walls, trim that skirt, crack down on cracks, and even-out those walls. Explore some new tools (or new uses for old ones), and hone those throwing skills with this one-off quick and easy workshop that will make all the difference in your work no matter what level you’re at. Instructor: Sara Young
Throwing Bigger - Taller or wider doesn’t have to be scarier. Learn to set yourself up for success with this 2 part series on all things big. Instructor: Sara Young
Lids - There’s more than a few ways to make a jar! Come learn the essentials about throwing galleries, lids, and making it all fit. Instructor: Crystal Dunn

*Prerequisites: Basic wheel throwing competency is required. Students should have a good grasp on centering, throwing small bowls/cups, and trimming.
A note on glazing:
These wheel classes focus on wet work and/or trimming. To glaze your project, additional studio time may be required. If you’re interested in more advanced glazing instruction, check our glazing workshops!
