Big or small, simple or stylized, discover different methods for attaching, pulling, and shaping to create pieces that make your work stand out!
Great for hand built or wheel thrown works. For this workshop you can bring your own forms to attach your handles, or practice on ones that we’ll have available. Clay used will be OH 6 from Clay Arts Center.
Wall Hangings - November 10th, 1 - 5PM - $150
Ceramics aren’t just dishes and vases. Learn how to make striking ceramic wall art that will call attention to any wall. Learn cool new surface decoration techniques and explore combining textures and patterns.
This 4 hour workshop includes a mid-session break (bring your own snack).
Hand Building Lamps - Dec 6th & 20th, 6-8:30PM - $200
It’s getting dark, so let’s add some light! Build your own lamp, up to 14 inches tall, and enjoy functional art!
This workshop includes lamp kit. You’ll provide your own shade to match your style.
Skips a week in between to allow time for bisque firing. Session 2 is reserved for glazing and surface design, where you’ll learn about different surface decoration techniques using rich stoneware glazes, washes, Stroke & Coat, or underglaze. What’s your vision? Come create it with us!
