‘Tis the season to treat yourself! Join us on this festive day of love and self-love to hand-build your own flower vase. It’s perfect for those flowers you plan to get later, because you deserve them!
In this workshop you’ll learn how to modify a simple cylindrical vase to make something unique and creative, just like you! Decorate and texturize your vase using carving or stamping, or leave it simple and let the glaze do the talking.
Pieces will be formed and glazed in this session, then available two weeks later after cone 5 firing. We offer a wide selection of glossy Wonderglazes, including speckles, the full rainbow, and more muted tones.
For matte, satin, drippy, or “floating” glaze surfaces, we offer a wide selection of Potter’s glazes from Amaco, Mayco, and Spectrum. This option does require 2 firings and additional studio time, calculated at 30% of the project price. Participants who upgrade will build/stamp/carve their vase in this workshop, then glaze two weeks later after bisque firing is completed.
