Looking for something fun and creative to do with a special kiddo in your life? Ready to welcome Spring and all things flowers and bunnies?
We’re celebrating with Bunny Sculptures and fresh Ceramic Flowers!
Each participant can choose between 1 of 2 projects: a medium-sized sculpture (perfect for smaller children and fun for adults), or 3 ceramic flowers (for more dextrous hands).
First, we’ll do a fun demo on a couple ways one might make a bunny sculpture and accessorize them:
pinch pot bunny that holds something like your jewelry, a tea light, or jelly beans
character bunny that can be any personality (or animal/creature/thing hybrid) you want
Next we’ll do a flower demo, where you’ll learn how to stamp and craft beautiful textures and details into your own unique ceramic flowers. If you’ve made this popular Clayhouse project before, this workshop will give you some great ideas on how to expand and improve your flower making skills.
After you build, you’ll glaze your work. Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up in two weeks!
This workshop include complimentary tea, coffee and juice.
Kids 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Due to limited seating, we ask that all persons present participate in making a project.
