Ages 9 to 15
Four classes, now 3PM-5PM weekly on Wednesdays.
Calling all creative minds ages 9–15! Want to learn how to make pottery? Join us for this challenging and rewarding after-school camp where you'll learn all about the whirling world of making creations on the wheel! We’ll focus on building confidence, perseverance, patience, and other skills in a positive, kind, and supportive environment.
Whether it's your first time or you’ve tried it before, this camp is all about progress, not perfection. Your instructor will meet you at your skill level and help you grow. We'll also learn about trimming, glazing, and firing, seeing the process to completion.
Students are welcome to continue this camp as they level up, pushing their skills as far as they'd like to go! At the end of each 4-week session, every student will take home some glazed pots they can be proud of.
Camp includes:
* 4 sessions of hands-on wheel instruction with Crystal Dunn
* All clay, tools, and supplies
* Guided carving, decorating, glazing, and firing
This is a relaxed, small-group environment (max 6 students)
No experience needed, just a willingness to try something challenging!
